The Community Self-Portrait Project is an opportunity to introduce yourself to the Middle Country Community!  Each participant will receive a 4 x 4 canvas board. See flyer for more details. Please visit the Adult Reference desk to register and pick up a canvas.

For children in 3rd – 5th grade Test your detective skills using clues to rescue a special work of art in this interactive mystery program presented by the Teen Advisory Council.

For children in K – 2nd grade Celebrate national poetry month by reading some Shel Silverstein favorites and participating in a fun activity.

For families with children in 1st – 5th grade Learn about money and have fun at the same time playing money related board games. Paint a piggy bank to take home and start saving.

For parents/caregivers with children ages 3 – 5 years old Flowers here, flowers there, flowers, flowers everywhere! Lots of flower crafts and a story too!

For children 3 – 5 years old Come learn about rain clouds by reading a story, doing a fun science experiment and making a craft.

For Families Christopher Agostino’s StoryFaces is a one-of-a-kind performance that’s sure to inspire and delight any audience. Agostino engages audience members with a skillful spoken word performance combined with unique visual art where audience volunteers are brought on stage and face painted to illustrate the traditional folktales and original stories.
