Greater Middle Country Chamber of Commerce

The purpose of the Greater Middle Country Chamber of Commerce is to help businesses prosper in the Centereach, Selden, Lake Grove and surrounding areas by supporting the business and civic interests of the Chamber members and the residents of the surrounding community.


Middle Country Coalition For Smart Growth        

The Middle Country Coalition for Smart Growth is an evolving not-for-profit organization with representatives from a broad spectrum of community groups that guides the development and revitalization of Centereach and Selden. The Coalition supports and works on a variety of projects that focus on the improvement of the physical environment and the creation of public spaces, and serves as the go-to organization for up-to-date information on community initiatives. Through collaboration, communication, and education, we aim to build communities that have a unique sense of place; preserve and enhance natural and cultural resources; expand the range of transportation, recreation, business and housing options; support long-range, regional sustainability; and promote beautiful, safe and accessible environments.


Centereach Civic Association                                     

The Centereach Civic Association was founded in 1961. Since then, its members and volunteers have been working tirelessly to make and keep the Centereach community a vibrant and thriving place to work, play and live.



Selden Civic Association                                                

The Selden Civic Association was established in 1932 and its object shall be to promote civic and social welfare in Selden and surrounding areas.



Times of Middle Country                                            

The award-winning Times of Middle Country newspaper serves our area with a weekly publication every Thursday in addition to various seasonal supplements, including Beautiful Babies, Focus on Health, Hark the Herald, Homes, Time for Giving and more.
