Ed McMullin has served on the Middle Country Public Library Board since November 1994. As an active board member, he supported the evolution of the Library into the nationally recognized institution that it is today. Under his tenure, he has shown particular interest in budgetary and technological matters including the Library’s recent investment in the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) self-check and self-return system.
Ed is a regular Library user and, most recently, provided the impetus for the creation of the Library’s Online Purchase Request Form which is used daily by community residents. Before retiring, he worked as a chemist and physics teacher in Queens.
