The Allstate Foundation’s WE Volunteer Now program has provided a $250 student grant to support the efforts of MCPL’s Teen Advisory Council as they tackle their next community volunteer project. The teens will assemble “welcome home” baskets for Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk to present to Habitat families as housewarming gifts. The baskets will contain housewares and supplies for the new homeowners.
